Two very different uses in one category

This category brings together two product families for different audiences. On one side, branded highlighters and fluorescent markers: desk items used to mark documents, study or prepare for a meeting, and ideal for offices, training sessions and trade shows. On the other, colouring sets: branded colouring pencils, branded crayons, chalks and kits with a notebook or drawing pad, designed for children and creative activities.

Telling them apart helps you choose well. A highlighter with your logo is a desk giveaway handed out in volume and used until the ink runs out. A colouring set is a small gift a family takes away: at a staff family day, in the children’s area of an event, in a clinic waiting room or on a restaurant table.

How each item is branded

The price on each product page includes the logo in one colour in the standard print area; extra colours or another technique are adjusted in the quote.

  • Pad printing. The usual technique on highlighter barrels: it reproduces one or more solid colours on small and curved areas.
  • UV digital print. Full colour on boxes, cases and smooth covers. It is the best option for a logo with many colours or an illustration on the case of a colouring set.
  • Round screen printing. One colour around cylindrical barrels, such as some markers.
  • Resin dome. A full-colour printed label covered with raised transparent resin. It adds volume to the logo and stands up to rubbing.
  • Small print area. On a compact highlighter the logo only fits into a few centimetres: use the simplest version of your brand.

Typical mistakes

  • Printing the logo in a light colour on a fluorescent highlighter. On yellow, green or fluorescent pink, a dark ink gives the best contrast.
  • Giving out a colouring set at an adults-only event. If there are no children, a highlighter or a branded notepad will be used more.
  • Not thinking about age. Small parts such as chalks, caps or short crayons are not for very young children: ask us for the recommended age for each set before handing them out.
  • Choosing a shaped highlighter for someone who will highlight every day. Shaped designs stand out on a stand; for studying or reviewing documents, a classic set of promotional highlighters works better.
  • Ordering a different model for each age group. Each catalogue item has its own minimum, so one or two sets that work for all ages make the order simpler.

What to pair them with and how to order

Highlighters fit well into training materials alongside a pen and a pad: branded pens and branded pencils complete the desk set-up. For family events, a colouring set pairs well with board games and skill games. If the event brings together adults and children, hand out the colouring sets in the children’s area and keep the highlighters for the adults accompanying them: one order covers both audiences.

Each model can be ordered from 10 units per catalogue item, with a minimum order of €100.00 per quote, excluding VAT and delivery. We send you a free mock-up with your logo on the item or case, you pay once you approve it, and production usually takes two to three weeks depending on the technique and quantity. Delivery is tracked to one address or several sites across the European Union.

Why it works

The cheapest product per person reached.

A pen costs pennies and is used by many more people than those who receive it: it gets lent, forgotten and travels. For a trade show or a mass mailing, it's still unbeatable, as long as it writes well.

  • Ink refill with declared autonomy
  • Metal clip on mid-range ones
  • Certified recycled plastic in almost the entire catalogue

The detail

Pad printing is the technique for curves.

On a round body, it's the only one that keeps the logo straight. Flat screen printing gets distorted.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Branded colouring pencils, highlighters and markers

If yours is not here, write to us. People answer, not an automatic form.

Can fluorescent highlighters be branded?

Yes. The logo is printed on the barrel, usually with pad printing in one or more solid colours. On fluorescent barrels, a dark ink gives the strongest contrast.

What can you give children at a company event?

A colouring set with pencils, crayons or markers and a notebook or drawing pad. It is small, used straight away, and the logo goes on the case or on the notebook cover.

Are there fluorescent markers made from recycled plastic?

Yes, there are sets of highlighters with recycled plastic barrels. They are branded with the same techniques as standard ones, and the product page states the material.

Crayons or colouring pencils for young children?

Crayons are thicker and easier to grip, so they are usually given to younger children; colouring pencils allow more detail from a certain age onwards. Before handing them out, ask us for the recommended age for each set.

What is the difference between a highlighter and a marker?

A fluorescent marker, or highlighter, has translucent ink that highlights text without covering it. A marker has opaque ink and is used for writing or drawing. This category includes both.

How many colouring sets should you order for a family event?

Allow one per registered child and a margin for anyone who arrives unexpectedly. As each model is ordered from 10 units, it is best to choose one single set that works for all ages.
